About Us

Based in sunny Brisbane Australia, Fetch Presets was born from B&M Studios, a commercial and wedding photography studio, founded by Brett McDougall in 2015. 

Like most photographers we have edited way more images than we could possibly count. And are firm believers that every location, lighting situation, climate, time of day, genre, mood, style, etc., looks better with different Lightroom settings, because well… they do… 

And so it t’was… our bank of ‘premium’ Lightroom presets kept growing to the point where it was both expensive and confusing, and they often didn’t look like the photographers we admired. 

Hence, the creation of Fetch Presets, where we could grab the exact Lightroom settings directly from photos that we loved without clicking through a bunch of random presets until we ‘maybe’ found something similar to what we wanted… 

And when we inevitably discovered something new that we liked – BOOYA! – we could grab those settings too, like a “Lightroom preset ninja grabber” – that really doesn’t have a ring to it.
